During
the covid pandemic, some people baked bread. Some people learned new skills or
honed familiar ones. Some people worked out feverishly. Some people are still
trying to lose those covid pounds. We all coped in different ways. I wrote
"Christina's Escapades at the Pet Shop," the sequel to my first book,
"A Job for Christina."
I was very fortunate to secure a contract with
Austin McCauley Publishers at the end of 2020. Of course, dealing with covid
caused delays with everything, but we've persevered.
I'm happy to announce that "Christina's Escapades
at the Pet Shop" has finally been released!
I was raised on Beverly Cleary and Judy Blume
books and I miss the humor we used to have in books for children and teens.
Humor is a very useful way of coping with life at any age and I feel we need
more books like the ones I enjoyed in my younger days, but with a modern spin.
So for anyone searching for a humorous book about
the teen years with an exciting mystery of missing money thrown in, should read
this book!
